7th day of Christmas

Was it seven pipers piping? Anyway, a couple pix from my breeze through the MFA on Tues. (the fifth day, where are my rings?) to pick up some Christmas cards on my way to the audiologist. The third one is something I saw on Ravelry that made me laugh. I complimented the guy in the 2nd photo on matching the bouquet, and he said it was "MFA red," which I only realized at the time was the same as the hat I'd stuffed in my bag, or I'd have shared that fact with him.

Clyfford Still

Something from the Met museum on one of my favorite artists. I admit I didn't see the political/social connotations that Mr. Bradford does, though it's interesting to think about. And any chance to see Still's work, especially the fabulous examples @ the Met, is worth a look see.

The cockles of your heart

A little something during this season of Advent to warm the cockles of your heart: our family creche & a banner I made back in the day.

The second day of Christmas

The Young People's Chorus of New York City singing the 12 days of Christmas, and Jingle Bells
