Our house and yard

Here are a couple recent photos (like taken this AM) of our front hallway and yard to show you how closely the former looks to one of Frank Merrill's illustrations that Andy includes in his article. Our house was built by the time of that illustration, and I wonder if our stairs window once had stained glass. Included also is from our side yard where my wee gargoyle, Igor, watches over our house. (I leave it to you to figure out which is which.)

Our yard

Recent photos of flowers in our yard. The oldest ones are of the violets that still grace the lawn. Oh, and that's Ollie from next door who came over to help.

In all his glory

What I noticed in the driveway after I got back from my toddle this AM. Not sure whom he thought he was impressing since there's nary a hen in sight.

Flute fireworks

Trevor Wye, besides being an amazing flutist, is known for his sense of humor. You'll see why below:

Old Crow Medicine Show

A couple songs I hope will brighten your holidays. Whiskey Christmas   and Holly Jolly Christmas (it's worth listening to the end)
