5.July.2014 day first
OK, returned to the Rijksmuseum early on day two (the secret if you want to get up close and personal with the Vermeers - the museum opens at 9:00AM), so was able to enjoy the third floor galleries & the rest of the museum as well (which was much less crowded even after the dreaded 11AM mob arrived). Also a video to give you a taste of what the tram ride was like (all courtesy of Guus, who lent me his tram pass and his museum pass).
