Flights of angels
Well, if not angels exactly, certainly one of the most dramatic things I saw on my recent trip: the cranes in the
Hula bird sanctuary leaving their daytime feeding area to the place on the water where they sleep (safety from predators, doncha know).
And a flock of them flew overhead my head in Palmachim my last day of the trip, heading for points north, as if to say "Bon voyage."
