A few days after returning from Vienna, I took a trip to the MFA to see the its Klimt/Schiele "Drawn"show (would better have been titled "Works on paper," but I guess that was too much of a mouthful). Ironically, most of the material was from Vienna's Albertina collection.
The link to the MFA's website above includes an interesting video by the curator. Here are the pictures I too, there. Only a couple not safe for work. And a couple of his house paintings, which, along with his city scapes, are some of my favorites of his subjects.
Sorry for the shadows on some of the photos' descriptions - because of the fragility of some of the work, it was very dimly lit & impossible to avoid getting one's shadow in the way.
