Pre piccolo practice picture posting

Managed to keep from checking election results until 7ish this AM. Imagine my relief.

Day four from 20.January.2012 including some favorite Suprematist works. I'm struck how, with some early abstract works, you can still see their connection to the "real" world. This is esp. clear when you trace Kandinsky's development from the figurative to the abstract, e.g. at the Guggenheim's wonderful 2010 show (please take time to take in the video). Other works from the 2nd half of the 20th century rooms @ Moma, including Louise Bourgeoise's La Fillette (what could that be?), & a very interesting work by Bruce Nauman.

Dan Graham's March 31, 1966 (clearer version)

Louise Bourgeoise' La Fillette (the little girl)

This & the following 2 are details of the untitled piece.
