OK, Mothers' Day is over & I've just gotten a HUGE list of ensembles to enter into the database. Heading out first for my toddle, a stop @ the bank to put the (too small) check from the Debussy gig & one (much more reasonable) from the web help I gave a friend on Friday. Then some tootling (first things first, after all) & THEN data entry. Fingers crossed I don't screw up (damned hard typing that way).
Tomorrow heading to NYC to stay with Margi & Michael, hoping to see some other friends & cousins & definitely some shows @ the Guggenheim (Malevich in Focus - http://www.guggenheim.org/new-york/exhibitions/on-view-now/malevich-in-focus-1912-1922), the Neue Galerie (Otto Dix - his first major retrospective in this country, apparently http://neuegalerie.org/exhibitions/39), the Met Museum (a Book of Hours show http://blog.metmuseum.org/artofillumination/ & a fashion show http://metmuseum.org/special/se_event.asp?OccurrenceId={CA088C8E-D618-4503-91E7-833569115BF2} - skipping, most likely the Picasso, which didn't get that great a review - who knew they didn't have such an abundance of them?), & MOMA. Back, lord willing & the creek don't rise, on Friday.
