First round of paintings from the amazing Belvedere collection. Starting with a photo of the tram stop signs. While it's helpful to see the large signs, if you're want to see the stop
name to know where you should get off, just try to see them as you whiz by.
And even though it's a funky photo (try getting close to it on a weekend - or any day, for that matter) you can really see the gold leaf glow in Klimt's "The Kiss." And I tried to highlight some of the motivic elements Schiele borrowed from Kilmt (probably will be clearer when you see some of his works later on in this series).
