I thought I'd post some artwork from cousins Anne & Eddie Watkins. I bought Eddie's photo & Anne's ivy print & Ann gifted me the Riverside Park print. Every time I look @ the pieces I think of A & E & smile. :)
Heading out soon to a _really_ blustery and rainy day - maybe a day for both rain pants & boots - to teach my final Monday AM @ NEU this semester.
Concert on Sat. went OK with some judicious editing of the Firebird so as not to embarrass myself & octave displacement in the Brahms since the conductor was asking us to play _so_ softly that I was practically inhaling some of the high notes. Spent yesterday @ a flute fair sponsored by the newish Boston Flute Academy @ a wonderful 3.5 hour masterclass with Robert Dick & about 20 minutes of an orchestral excerpt workshop with Fenwick Smith - all for free!
