Neighborhood shots

From 17 & 18.July.2010. Signs, street shots, a sculpture by a local library and Potter in a favorite resting place - she seems to like places where it's difficult for Snitch to pounce on her unannounced.

Student showing up in about an hour - she's the one preparing for a competition so always very focused and well-practiced so a treat to teach. The humidity from the hurricane remnant (no wonder we had such bluster winds the past couple days) has finally passed, thank the goddess, so we're enjoying a beautiful day of mid-60F temps and comfortable humidity.

Busy practicing the licks from the Firebird & exploring the picc excerpt rep on my lovely instruments. Just finished a cerise gansey (traditional pattern, way not traditional color). Now to finish up a few projects that have also been sitting around for many months (one probably about a year!). Busy hands are happy hands.
