2016-02-28-29: The birds

Pix today from the end of the day at the Hula bird sanctuary to see the cranes as they rested there before migrating to points north (and I think I've posted videos of their dusk flight to overnight on the water). After which we made our way back to Birgit's & Tsali's house for a delicious meal @ a local restaurant (of which I didn't get any photos). Then an early breakfast & heading out along the Lebanese border to the Rainbow Cave (stay tuned for those).

This is the truck that took us to the midst of the flocks. If you
didn't pay for this tour, you couldn't get so close to the birds.

Could that be Mt. Hermon again?
