Soon to take Potter to the vet for a blood draw - he was concerned about her thyroid levels - fingers crossed it was nothing - she gets so stressed going to the clinic I wonder that any blood levels are accurate.
Another hellishly hot day today. Earl creeping up the coast soon. I wish the stupid forecasters would stop assigning genders to hurricanes - storms are "it", not "he" or "she".
I read of a couple who moved from New Orleans after Katrina to somewhere in the middle of Kansas since it was the farthest point from any coast. Can't imagine the annual tornado threat there is worse than the occasional hurricane. Of course one might stumble across Dorothy Gale.
